30+ friends came in support of Edith Whitford and Al Nutter at the book signing on Sat July 10th at the Protection Township Library. Mary Holler, librarian served punch or coffee while all enjoyed the lovely table of cookies, nuts, mints and the fruit tray. Lots of visiting, story telling was enjoyed by all who attended. Betty Love help sell the books, Carol Turner shared her new puppy ‘Tinkerbelle’s, Kay Sawyer, Shirley Norton, Mary Holler, Julie Herd shared cookies, Mary Eubank, Dan Toneges and Kay Sawyer the fruit tray. If you attended this event, lots of old friends were present to exchange notes and reacquaint with each other, the signing table was accented with Name plates with hats printed on them, of course Edith’s straw hat had a pink flower, and an old straw hat with a rose laying over the brim, finished out the decorations, and of course a welcome sign to the Protection Township Library Book Signing was laying by the sign in sheets. The book “A Man Named Al A Diamond in the Rough” is available for check out at the library or Edith still has books for sell
