Roger Hester did a presentation at the library May 12 at 3pm. 

Grades 5 and 8 along with several adults enjoyed this program.

Roger was a sergeant in the Vietnam War, serving in the 173rd Airgorne Brigade from 1967 to 1968.

He served as a combat soldier, photographer, and correspondent.

He was awarded the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.

He gave a presentation on the Fire Fight at Central Highlands in Vietnam,

which included colored slides which were shot by Roger during the fight.

Mr. Hester lives in Beaver, Oklahoma where he is a Farm Bureau Insurance Agent.

The children really enjoyed this presentation and ask some interesting questions, all

enjoyed seeing photo laying on tables around the room.
